    I saw a really neat ring last weekend with a titanium shape cast in
    place in 18Kyellow gold. It was striking and the interesting thing
    was that the titanium could have been colored using electrical
    current. It wasn't, but I was talking with the creator about the
    process and using titanium. Just the thought of inserting colored
    pieces of metal cast in place got my artistic juices flowing.
