    Don, I agree completely with your comments. In fact, I am faceting a
    garnet right now, and my cutting sequence is 600K diamond on steel
    for roughing, 1200 diamond sintered for most cutting, and then
    50,000 diamond on BA5T tin lap for polishing and placement of
    smaller facets. Very fast, nothing else required.
