    Thanks, Rasesh, but I don't think of myself as gifted. Today I
    repaired the hinge on a Scottish antique watch fob that was also a
    tiny lidded box. A beautiful piece, and I can only guess at how it
    was made, and the artist is now anonymous. I know my limits.

    Again, thank you. But here's the problem. I will be working on one
    of my own designs, and by the time I'm finished with it, I realize
    that what I've chosen to make is made up of safe solutions. It is
    annoying. I can't seem to break out of it. I know that there is
    nothing truly original, we all use things that we have seen, whether
    we remember it or not. But it would be nice, to once in a while,
    surprise myself.
