    Our take on the wedding ring market is that the best interests of
    the customer are tantamount. On the other hand, the marketplace
    prefers to take a predatory stance. 

    Unfortunately, young, giddy customers are viewed as prime prey. The
    De Beers cajoling that a bride deserves nothing less than much more
    than they can realistcally afford is a recipe for financial disaster
    ! When we encounter starry eyed couples we always try to get a take
    on the financial prospects of the couple and proceed to tailor their
    purchase to realistic expectations. It is kind of like being stopped
    on the road and asked directions.....we prefer to foregoe sending
    them in the direction of financial disaster and send them to a place
    that they wanted to find ultimately. Yes, we are being
    paternalistic, but is that not better than being canabalistic ?
