[Jewelry making - Article 00293] - [Orchid] Burno Crucible Tongs

    Is it just me, or does anyone else think that those tongs they sell
    for two-part Burno crucibles are a piece of junk ? You'd need the
    grip of a gorilla to hold the crucible together with those slippery
    tongs whilst holding a torch with the other hand. I found that the
    round handled clamp I use with a melting dish does a much better job
    holding the Burno crucible together than those $ 3 tongs. I keep
    having visions of 2000 degree metal burning through my boots. 

    Hmmm.. may be I'll invent a better pair of tongs. Won't catch any
    mice, but it'll work, safely.
