    I have had both good and bad experience with H S, that's sort of how
    life goes. I once sent them a huge [ to me anyhow] amount of platinum
    and it disappeared from my assay, when I ask them about it, it
    reappeared. I don't beleive it was intentiional but it was Very
    strange. Since then I have always wrote a letter informing who ever
    is doing my refining what I have sent and pretty much what I expect
    back in refining. 

    As far as pricing metals on the day of shipment, versus the day you
    order, I suggest that you make your order contingent on same day
    processing if it is that important to you. If you want to get your
    metal on the day you order it because the price is good, tell them if
    they can't fill it that day you don't want it. that way you will know
    what to expect, if you are ordering more unusual sizes you can expect
    a delay. 

    It will be interesting to see where this market goes, I have been
    trying to buy less common goods recently and H S has stopped
    carrying some things. Too expensive for them to hold in inventory,
    this is not a good sign for the trade. With an ever expanding world
    market you would think that products would become more available not
    less so.
