    It's unfortunate you didn't have a good experience with Hoover &
    Strong. Can I assume you haven't dealt with them for long? I've been
    ordering my metal from them (and sending in scrap for refining) since
    the early 70's when I was in school, and I've never had anything but
    professional, friendly, knowledgeable service from them all these
    years. Pretty amazing record. 

    And I wonder how much pressure they must be under now with the
    increase in metal prices, starting with all the people phoning to ask
    how to sent scrap in... Despite this, it sounds like you even got
    George himself on the phone. Don't quite understand the level of
    anger in your post. 

    Maybe all of us on this planet should cut each other a little more
    slack... (translation for those outside the US: be a little kinder.) 

    Thanks Hanuman et al for giving all of us a voice. As well as a safe
    place to disagree.
