    The on-again-off-again Orchid dinner seems to have sufficient
    support to be on again, with the cooperation of the restaurant and
    without official "banquet" status. So the plan, as of now, is to
    meet at 7:30 Thursday at Ben Pao, 52 W. Illinois. I hope to clarify,
    within the next 24 hours, exactly how this will work, and I will
    post tomorrow. If you will be en route to Chicago or away from your
    computer or otherwise need clarification, you may email me directly

    If you think you are going to come and have not already told me so,
    it would be helpful to know this. But come anyway-- we'll wing it.
