Personally I have no issue with fused glass, I did hot and cold
glass for a number of years and know how much work is required and
the cost involved in the process of creating truly unique pieces.
Doing good glass is not easy.

I too take exception to the lovely pieces being glued onto imported
findings or to them being simply grooved and "wire-wrapped". The
'artist' in these cases is not treating the material with the respect
that it could command nor do they value their work when they
misrepresent by calling it a stone.

Whatever style of work we choose to do and with whatever materials
we use, if we do not treat our work with respect, we can't possible
expect the shopping public to fully appreciate, value and respect it
    either.

Cheers,
Cynthia
