Dear Sara,

    If you can afford to buy them, definitely by the Kate Wolf set. I
    don't carve a ton of wax, but I love my set. I don't use every tool
    in the set every time, but I do think they all have a purpose, and
    will be used in time. As you are just now forming work habits and
    learning about wax carving, this would be a wonderful set of tools to
    learn and experiment with.
