    I think this would be a good idea - I am in the process of trying to
    identify galleries to place my work in, in addition to the two local
    spots I currently use. The locals are OK, but not really geared
    towards selling jewelry, so... 

    I'd love some input from fellow New Mexicans (or anyone ) as to
    galleries in the Southwest/Colorado that they have found to be good
    to work with, honorable, etc, etc. I'm wanting to keep it somewhat
    local so that I can monitor things and provide great customer service
    to the galleries, especially in terms of being able to maintain
    personal contact. For the time being, if anyone has any thoughts on
    this, feel free to contact me personally at isf AT valornet.com. 

    I can see where there might be some issues of people not wanting to
    put any negative reviews on the internet, although these would be
    among the most helpful type of reviews that could be provided. Or
    perhaps not so much negative, as providing fair disclosure of
    problems, when encountered. 

    There is a group I belong to that rates vendors of soaping supplies,
    and they do it by using the "polls" feature of Yahoo Groups. Folks
    can go in and anonymously rate a supplier along a continuum -
    something like 1  great supplies, great shipping, great customer
    service down to 5  I'd never buy from them again. And you are able to
    give comments to the mailing list at large. Perhaps we could do
    something similar. Or have a sub-list of Orchid for this purpose??
    Or???
