I presume this answer and 1 or 2 others were mainly directed at me and my reply to the origional question asked - from memory, 'what is bombing and how is it done' [which i answered honestly for the poster]. It seems those who choose to continue bombing are classed as outdated in their methods of jewellery production on this site.I have acess to many factories and often question any new methods they may trial or use to obtain the results they require [as i contract to many of them],and any that look worthy i purchase the equiptment myself and trial - some are usefull and i gear up to include it, and some can be an expensive waste. Competing against increasingly cheaper imported and often lower quality items i have always delivered a top quality finish and on time [sometimes after 30+ hours straight] and when time and finish means bombing is the most efficient system for the results i require then that is used - [after 30+ hrs 1 hour saved is an hours sleep bought. Yes it is highly dangerous but used with skill and correct safety measures it is a tool that still gives me an advantage as most competitors are unable to compete with and just might ensure my services are still highly sought after for another 40 years in this trade [local and export].
