Hi everyone,

    I am looking forward to seeing many Orchidians (Orchidites?) in
    Tucson! (I will be at Rio Grande's Catalog in Motion showroom at the
    Argentium booth.) 

    I would like to remind everyone attending the Orchid dinner that the
    silent auction is a fund raiser for a cause that is dear to all of
    us. I encourage everyone to think in terms of making a donation to
    Orchid by "over-bidding" on items that you would like to have, rather
    than trying for bargains. The Orchid Dinner silent auction is a time
    for "over-spending", in the most positive sense of the term possible.
    It is a time to be proud of over-paying! 

    Remember: Bid high! See if you can get that tool you want for twice
    the retail price---that will be all the more for Orchid!
