[Jewelry making - Article 00068] - [Orchid] Retro Fit Earrings

    I've been approached by someone to change a pair of earrings from
    pierced post to pierced leaver back. Problem: they are not silver.
    They are some base metal from Chico's. Also they are set with some
    type of synthetic stone. I'm not sure how to do this. Any
    recommendations (other then to walk away - which is what I'll
    probably do). But just for curiosity sake, how would one do this.
    Clip the posts and then how would you attach a ring? Wire wrap? Glue
    <gasp> ;-). Stumped in Fort Collins.
