    Check on e-bay there are thousnads of watches being sold. Also,
    there are compnay's that purchase high end watches almost
    exclusively. You might look on google and check it out. A watches
    price depends on style, type, year of manufacture all sorts of
    things. Also, mens's watches are more collectable and worth more
    generally than ladies. The guy at the local shop gave you a very low
    price unless you have worn the thing out. If it is stainless steel,
    they aren't worth as much as the gold ones.
