    You might have set the speed or power UP TOO darn high. Lessen the
    "pounding" to a lesser notch. Experiment with the various settings or
    turnings on the gnurled lever. Why didn't you get a Duplex spring? My
    "Bedeco" Hammer has a duplex spring, and it works wonders for me. All
    of the insides are made of steel and not one piece of plastic causes
    any heating up to the user. (moi) Another pointer for you, slow down
    you motor speed too!...Gerry Lewy!
