Hi Dennis;

    If I were doing that kind of production, I'd want to be using a
    controlled atmosphere casting system, such as Galloni or Neutec
    makes. That said, I suppose it would be possible if you were melting
    in an electric melter and had a flow of argon/helium mixture over the
    metal throughout the process of melting and pouring, then put the
    flasks immediately in an oxygen starved atmosphere till cool. As for
    policy, that depends on your customers and how much time you're
    willing to have wasted in finishing and regects.
