The Bay Area Metal Arts Guild and The Blue Room Gallery cordially
invite you to attend the opening of California Art Metal Now on
Thursday, June 30th, 2005 from 6pm - 9pm. California Art Metal Now is
a juried exhibition of Jewelry and Metal Arts from throughout the
State of California. The show represents current California artists,
both established and emerging, from the many genres of the field.
Artist where encouraged to submit pieces that challenge assumed
interpretations of the medium while presenting it within the
traditional context. The pieces where chosen on the merits of
uniqueness in concept and design along with excellence in execution.
The exhibition equally values jewelry and sculpture of both function
and non-function.
This show features over 40 top Metals artist in CA, including
Kristin Beeler, Jack da Silva, Helen Shirk, David LaPlantz, myself &
many more.
