Safe advice

Roseann,

Given where you live, I doubt that you could install enough security
to satisfy Jewelers Mutual, even if you secured the perimeter. I
assume you’re mostly worried about someone breaking in when you
aren’t there, since you’re already armed and dangerous. Aside from
the decoy safe (fabulous idea) and several fierce dogs, why not buy
an old extra pick-up, park it in a prominent place, plaster it with
relevant stickers (“This vehicle protected by Smith & Wesson,” etc.),
install a shotgun rack, leave a pair of very large work gloves on
the seat, turn on the radio in your studio (loud) to a relevant
station, and go have fun in your best boots?
