    Hi Alysia; your paste solder has probably hardened somewhat. When
    this happens to me, I use a small hair dryer that I keep in the shop
    and direct it on the tube while slightly pushing on the plunger and
    when the paste has softened sufficiently it will "ooze" out. Don't
    overheat it.
