    Hi all.  I use a Van-i-Vac dust collection system I got from Rio, and
    modified the end of the collection hose by duct-taping onto it a hook
    I made from flat aluminum rod. I can place the hook over my leg so
    the hose is in my lap and I can polish in a more relaxed manner.  

    I can place the piece and the flexshaft right at the mouth of the
    collection hose where the suction is sufficient to pull the gunk in
    regardless of which direction the flexshaft (or micromotor) is
    spinning. I can also hook the hose over other pieces of shop
    equipment for different angles and purposes. This is certainly not
    an orthodox approach, but it gives me more options and freedom of
    movement.
