Hello Friends,

I need to etch a bunch of different karat and color gold sheets to
make the grain structure visible. Can anyone suggest what might work
best in Nickel White, Pd white gold and high silver golds?

Way back years ago I would cyanide/peroxide strip to see this. Not
    these days of course!

In white gold I wish to make samples for exhibition at Kraftwerks
and elsewhere to show interested jewelers how grain structure
    effects malleability.

SEM photography is out of the budget at $250 per shot! Unless I hit
    the lotto anyway:)
