[Jewelry making - Article 00150] - [Orchid] Fusing Jump Rings with Hot Spot Electric

    I'm hoping to ask any Orchadians who use the Rio Grande Hot Spot
    Electric Soldering Machine to fuse jump rings for some help. I just
    recently purchased one and have been practicing with it to get the
    settings correct for the difference gauge rings.  However, more often
    that not I'm either melting the ring (to high power) or they just
    aren't fusing. I'm practicing on 20 gauge 5mm Sterling Silver rings
    (not the solder filled). If anyone can help I'd greatly appreciate
    it.
