    Graduation in Photography from the Academy of Fine Arts, Istanbul. 

    Fashion Acsessories and Jewellery Design, one year certificate
    program, Scuola d'Arte e Mestieri di Vicenza, Italy. Gemology and
    Stonesetting, 6 month qualification, Scuola d'Arte e Mestieri di
    Vicenza, Italy. 

    Jewellery Making and Design, one year course, BIR Art Center,
    Istanbul. 

    Shenay Akin teaches rendering and jewellery design at Alef Galeri,
    an art center founded together with Yesim Yuksek a goldsmith and
    teacher of hers. 

    She enjoys using gold and silver together with non-conventional
    materials like glass, plastic, leather...She produces her own
    one-of-a-kind jewellery and develops project as a free-lance
    jewellery designer.
