    A quote comes to mind:

(feel free to insert "woman" for man")

"A man who works with his hands is a laborer; a man who works with
his hands and his brain is a craftsman; but a man who works with his
hands and his brain and his heart is an artist" -Louis Nizer,
    American lawyer 1902-1994

I create thoughtful, unique jewelry in silver, gold, or whatever
other material calls for the piece. I make fun and elegant
"everyday" pieces and conceptual "special occassion" pieces "from the
heart". For me, as well, being an artist was a calling born into me.
One I could not escape. I follow my dreams. I am an artist.
