Dear Orchidians,

    As you may already know, a new jewelry design software called
    3Design Jewel from the company Vision Numeric is now available. My
    name is Cyril Saelens, I used to be the west coast manager for this
    company. I am now an independent distributor located in Los Angeles
    selling, training and supporting 3Design Jewel software. I already
    met some of you at various trade shows, the last one being the NY
    Expo a few weeks ago and I realized that 3Design Software is still a
    big mystery for the majority of jewelers. So I decided to organize a
    free 3Design seminar in my office in Downtown Los Angeles on Friday
    April 8th 2005 to concretely answer any questions you may have and
    explain for example what the concepts of Parametric and Solid
    constructions, Free-forms modifications and open-platforms (that make
    3Design available on both PC and MAC) are. This day will be organized
    into 2 demo sessions. Morning session: 9am-12pm and Afternoon session
    2pm-5pm. If you are interested and plan to be in the area at this
    time, please choose the session that best suited your schedule and
    reserve your seat in advance since space is limited. 

    The new 3Design training facility is located in the heart of the Los
    Angeles Jewelry district at 606 S. Hill Street - Suite 810 (corner
    of 6th and Hill St). 

    Of course, for those who won't be able to attend the seminar or have
    urgent questions that can't wait any longer, I will be happy to
    answer them on and off forum. 

    As an additional benefit to come to LA for this 3Design seminar, I
    remind you that the WESTEC manufacturing show featuring CNC milling
    and rapid prototyping machines also takes place between April 4-7 at
    the LA Convention center and it is an excellent occasion to check out
    for new equipments.
