    Hi Jen, Yes Yes Yes!!! The direction form the Mitch. Co. were
    WRONG!!!! I don't know how a large corp. could be so wrong in the
    directions and application of a product which they created. I too
    have been playing with the Aura22, I usually work with gold sheet. I
    experienced similar problems. Thank God for Rio Grande. Spoke with
    Judi in their tech dept. She sent me the correct directions and was
    very supportive. She knew her stuff!! 1-2 applications is enough. The
    consistency I use is liken to real maple syrup or olive oil. If the
    consistency is any thicker it does crumble off. Try a single
    application and burnish just like Kem-boo. You can always reapply if
    you are not happy with the density or color of the gold. One other
    key factor is the surface being TOTALLY CLEAN. I use mine when the
    pieces come right out of the kiln,the frosty crystals gives it
    something to hold onto. Drop me a note off line and I can attach the
    directions Judi sent me!! Enjoying the sunshine,
