    Rio Grande has a wonderful opportunity to learn from the best right
    here at Rio in our Saul Bell class room! 

    Education In Motion welcomes renowned wax carver Kate Wolf. During
    her 26 years in the industry, Kate has made master models for such
    clients as L.L. Bean, Disney, Lenox and QVC. She also developed a
    line of wax-carving tools and Wolf Wax gold-and silver-color carving
    waxes and companion waxes. She has been teaching for 14 years. 

    Discover innovative approaches to wax carving, build your skills and
    explore your creativity in this week-long class. Using magnified
    demos, Kate will cover design, layout, faux granulation, flame
    techniques, bezels, carving mirror images, channel- and contour-fit
    bands, hollowing, finishing and repairing, as well as affordable
    lathing and milling techniques. Bring your own project(s) or they
    will be supplied. Basic bench skills including sawing, filing and
    using a flex shaft are required.
