    I took two SMFA classes with Linda Priest. I did learn a lot. The
    classes are definitely fine art/craft-geared as opposed to
    fashion-geared (Makes sense since it's a museum school!) 

    Now I live in Los Angeles, and I can't believe how much I paid for
    the classes at SMFA, which included minimal studio time. Out here
    you can find continuing education in jewelry and metals with much
    better facilities and 24/7 studio access at about 1/10 the price. 

    I guess I would say that it's only worth taking classes at SMFA if
    you are fine-art focused. I'd take a look at what Metalwerx offers
    instead.
