Neil,

    Thank you for the lead to Flowcorp. What a fascinating site and
    technology! In another incarnation, I had started to explore water
    jet technology to deal with cutting heavy walled paper tubing. That
    was in the mid '80s. 

    Now if we can come up with an attachment to fit a cutting head and
    catcher to a  jeweler's saw frame!  Bet jump rings would still be a
    pain.
