    further, I discovered that the JoAnn fabric is 29 inches wide. 
    Hancock Fabrics and pretty much everyone else sells it 58 inches
    wide for $10/yard.  Most stores have regular sales and you can save
    off of that.  Hancock Fabrics offers 10% off everything for folks 55
    and older on the first Wednesday of each month. At least that's true
    for the store by me. Another gives you half price for 3 yards on
    your birthday.  I've also found it in the remnant pile for $3/yard -
    it was a bit raggedy, but very useable.
