    Dear Orchid people 

    Bouyed by the kind comments about my mokume-gane frame for James
    Binnion, I've put up another set of images showing another process
    for making eyeglasses: fabrication. Most of you can fabricate can't
    you. Well it's just another case of set the parts up and solder them.

    With the fabrication method I can use thin sheet for some parts and
    thick metal for others. And there's less waste. However, naturally it
    all comes out annealed after the soldering. Using the first method I
    showed you, saw-from-solid-plate www.adam.co.nz/orchid, the few
    solder joints use extra-easy solder, MP 610 degC. It's the one that
    the optical trade uses, and will expect to find should they be so
    lucky as to get their hands on one of my frames.
