[Jewelry making - Article 01181] - Re: [Orchid] Repousse & Chasing Demonstration

    I had the pleasure this last Sunday to be a guest in the Studio of
    Cecilia Bauer to watch a demonstration of chasing and Repousse by
    Valentin Yotkov. 

    What a Master, he is incredible and his hands are gold, his fingers
    golden. His demonstration was so precise, one feels a bit of courage
    to just simply try. He spoke a primer, a veritable ABC of Chasing
    and Repousse. He offered samples of each stage to pass around for
    guests to finger, touch and see what he had just done. 

    Ever the master, he had the works of some of his students for show
    and tell and included the length of time they had been learning from
    him. His tools hand made by him are exactly what is needed for each
    phase of the task at hand, and he explained them in great detail. 

    Valentin is what everyone hope a teacher will be and then some. He
    is a giving man, no secrets are withheld. I found him to be
    personally charming, comfortable to be around and I believe a great
    teacher. 

    Thank you Valentin for a wonderful afternoon, I truly enjoyed
    getting to meet you.
