Dear Rosanne,

I do have a couple of suggestions for you. Use masking tape on the
bottom side of the coil before you cut the coil, this will help hold
the coil together. If the coil is for large diameter jump rings
insert a wooden dowel into the coil before cutting, this will support
the jump rings. Make sure that you lubricate the blade of the saw
blade before cutting. If you are not cutting all the way through the
wire then you are not holding the blade down far enough or not hold
the flex shaft with enough control and force. Please contact me off
list and I would be happy to call you. I do not live in your area.

Best wishes,
Cathy Wheless
