Hi John,

    I love your knives and thought your take on SNAG/Metalsmith was very
    interesting.  Thanks for contributing to the thread.  However, since
    I'm the one who made the comment about the enameling issue, I'd like
    to respond to one thing you said:

    In a themed EiP (which the enameling issue was), you only need to
    apply if that's how the curators set it up.  It could be completely
    by invitation. However, in this case, the person in question did
    apply. As for being a SNAG member, that is not a requirement for
    inclusion in either EiP or Metalsmith (but the person in question is
    a member of SNAG regardless); and, finally, her work was not in the
    previous two EiPs. I'm afraid it was just a matter of oversight or
    juror bias.
