Hi, Andy,

    I confess I haven't really been following this thread closely-- I've
    been working 12-14 hour days, and have little energy at the moment
    for abstract thought, let alone squabbles. But I caught your reply
    to Hratch, and went to your web site as a result. I have long
    admired your work, but had not seen your sitebefore. 

    First, I'd like to say that it is a beautiful site. The atmosphere
    it creates is marvelous, and the function is excellent (though I
    wish the enlargements were a little bigger.) I think your statement
    is clear, well written, thoughtful and interesting. It may add a
    dimension to how I see your work. In the case of the comments
    attached to the pieces, I looked at a few where I might be happier
    knowing less about your thoughts in the making (Bulls Eye, for
    example). But my attitude is that the artist's view is an
    interpretation like anyone else's, and not necessarily any more or
    less valid. That's the price/benefit of releasing our efforts for
    the world to make of what they choose. Yes? 

    But what really got to me is the piece entitled "Procrastination".
    This is a wonderful piece of writing, and every word rings like a
    bell (and I'm not male). I didn't read any of the others yet because
    I don't want to dilute the effect of that one while I think about it
    for a while. So true, so true! 

    So, thank you for the discussion that led me to read it, and to
    check out your site. And thanks for your insight.
