    Thank you for your very succinct and pithy statement. 

    I recently got into jewelry and ring making.  Spent the first
    twenty-five years of my adult life creating (perhaps a better word
    would be making) wooden furniture.  I loved what I did, but finally
    decided to explore other vistas when "the people" made working with
    wood become too artsy for me. 

    I'm a self-taught metal hacker.  I believe in simple, wearable
    jewelry, and make my pieces for family, friends and customers of
    like mind.  Each item I produce is made to the best of my ability,
    with love and hopefully, simple elegance. 

    Sorry, I am running on.  Luckily, I don't have to depend upon making
    an income from producing rings or jewelry.  If I had to write an
    artist's statement it would be short and sweet:  "Made with love and
    caring.  Made to be wearable and pleasing."
