Hello All,

    I meant to post this earlier for all of you Orchid members in the
    Bay Area and those who may be visiting. 

    The Metal Arts Guild is having an exhibition in the Collectors
    Gallery of the Oakland Museum. MAG 2004--an Exhibition of  Metal Art;
    Wearable, Ornamental, and Artistic... features the original work of
    69 Guild members. In addition,  pieces from the permanent collection
     will also be on display. 

    The exhibition is free to the public and will be up through October
    31,2004 

    Gallery hours are  Wed-Fri 10:30 -4:30 pm, Sat, Sun 1:30 -430 pm. 

    It is a wonderful exhibition featuring everything from production
    jewelry to functional art. I hope may of you will have an opportunity
    to see it.
