    Let me clarify one more point regarding the term "Smart Jewelry'. 
    As I have said and others have restated, I did not coin the term.    
    As matter of fact, from the dinner conversation that I had referred
    to in my post-- and from other conversations I have had in the past
    with several of the people present -- I had the distinct impression
    that my work was NOT included in the rarefied and elite group of
    "Smart Jewelers". This, in spite of the fact that I had shown with
    this gallery for several years until she closed it down. 

    My use of the term was  a reporting of what I'd heard rather than a
    statement of opinion.
