    I believe the point of this is more that if the show is supposed to
    be the artists representing their own work, and there's someone there
    who sells items priced much more "affordably" than a lot of other
    people because essentially they cheated/lied to get into the show,
    that could very realistically hurt sales for the artists who put
    actual hard work into their pieces (and have to price accordingly, or
    not eat). 

    Moreso, if the show's customers are informed that ALL the sellers in
    the show have made/designed the pieces they're selling, from a
    relatively uneducated consumer's point of view, why NOT buy the
    cheaper pieces if the designs appeal? :/ Unethical sellers certainly
    won't inform customers if they've already been unethical in getting
    into the shows in the first place.
