[Jewelry making - Article 00518] - [Orchid] Vintage platinum

    All, I have to take the oval three stone top of an antique ring off
    and weld it to a new ring the customer wants a pierced gallery hand
    engraved platinum ring. I will have to make it if I cannot find one
    I was thinking of carving a blank wax and either having someone
    engrave and pierce the wax and casting the engraved wax in platinum
    or casting the platinum and having the hand engraver pierce and
    engrave the metal. Any suggestions?
