    Recently my favorite music in the studio is the random melodious
    songs of the wood thrush in the woods nearby, mixed with squirrel
    chatter, neighbor's cows calls, and wind in the trees, coming in
    through my open windows. 

    I play lots of music CD's in the winter to cover up the annoying
    buzz of my gas heater's fan. Many of them are contemporary Celtic
    music, or classical, or folk singer-songwriters. When I get lonely I
    listen to our great community radio station, KAXE, which also is
    available on the internet at KAXE.org, if I have that right. It is an
    eclectic mix of every kind of music except classical, with local
    news, NPR news, and many other items of interest mixed in. Their
    Saturday night trivia show is gaining an international audience. If
    you don't like what you are hearing on KAXE, just wait. Something
    different will be on soon!
