    Kathy, I'm glad  to  be reminded of this music,  which I heard at a
    concert in a cathedral near Reading (England) last September. 
    You're right, Hildegard of Bingen's  music is absolutely unlike
    anything I've heard and it has a wonderful quality.  Ironically, the
    nuns in the German convent which  she founded so long  ago do not do
    anything with her music and are pleasantly surprised that others
    find it so interesting.  As many of you probably know, Hildegard's
    art (from her visions)  is also unique.
