Hello Orchidland,

    Isn't this a fun thread. Great idea Noel.  BTW, I'm taking a short
    class from the retired ceramics prof.  He's originally from Italy
    and swears in Italian... so he says <G>.  Throw, throw, throw...
    it's coming back and is nearly automatic again. 

    Last night I worked for 3 hours in total silence.  Had no idea of
    time or whether anything was on the stereo or TV.  There was a
    problem to solve, and it occupied my total attention.  Other than
    the cat's demands for attention, I don't recall much of how it all
    played out once that "aha" occurred; the piece is done and I do LIKE
    it. 

    Judy in Kansas, where the rain continues to fall, despite the
    meteorlogist's predictions of sunshine.
