    Hello out there in Orchidland! I wanted to take a minute to let you
    know about a contest Colored Stone is running on our site,
    www.colored-stone.com. 

    What we're doing is a reader's choice poll which will allow visitors
    to our site to choose their favorite jewelry designer. Right now,
    we've opened the virutal floor for nominations, which we'll be
    accepting until mid-April. We'll take the list of nominees and narrow
    them down to a field of 15-20 finalists, then put those up on our
    site so visitors can vote for their favorite. The winner will be
    featured on our site and also in the July/August issue of the
    magazine. 

    If you know of any great designers who are especially deserving of
    recognition ;-> I'd encourage you to visit our site and nominate
    them in the next couple of weeks. There are no restrictions on
    geographical location or professional status (it could be a student,
    for example); the only requirement is that the artist must work with
    colored gemstones or pearls.
