I am using rose bud tip with propane to melt sterling grain and want
to make sure I have a reducing flame. What should the flame look
like? Most discussions of flame shape deal with a single orifice
tip. My rose bud has 7 orifices and flames and it is hard to see
what any one flame is doing. Also, what part of the rose bud flame
should the crucible and grain be positioned in?

Thanks
Mitch Adams
