Oh ... you're going to love this. Here's the question. Is man man
... or is man woman? Methinks the answers are going to vary ...
depending upon which side of the fence one resides. And the answer
is ... man is woman! It get a tad complicated ... so listen up.

Of course ... you may all well ask how I come to this conclusion ...
and in fact ... why even pursue this tack. First the why. I have
this pair of "Man" cufflinks in gold ... though I must admit the
fellows do not seem to be too thrilled at having been portrayed.
Perhaps they've heard this tale before. And now to the how ...

According to my source ... Man ... in the original old Norse
language ... meant Woman. The name Man was the word used to describe
the Moon ... creatress (note feminine ending) of all living
creatures. Ancient sacred love songs were composed in tribute to
the female Moon and her earthly incarnations: Women. The songs were
called: Mansongr ... which translates into Woman-Songs. Oh ... and
there's more me lassies and lassies ... for Man is clearly
evanescing into an ever dissipating memory soon to be forgotten by
    word smiths.

A Moon-goddess--it would seem--once appeared as a Fairy Queen who
led the entire population of males into the sea where they perished.
No men were left. Just women ... and more women. Today ... it
becomes apparent to anyone with logical thought ... that man no
longer roams the earth. Which brings to mind a question about this
whole Massachusetts thing ... but I believe it best to let that one
    go by.

Mana ... also at times called Mania ... a derivative of the word Man
... was a Goddess with maternal powers, magical powers, supernatural
force, and a tendency to drift into a state of lunacy. (Note Luna
for moon, etc.) Mana at times ruled the underworld which many of you
may have thought was ruled by some sort of male-type creature. No
no. A female runs things down there.

Mana was also known as the Mood Goddess who gave birth to the race
of Man ... I mean Woman ... which is what Man originally meant
anyway. Ye gads ... this is not easy.

So there it is ... Man does not exist ... only Woman. For those of
you who occasionally tend to look down and say whoa ... hey ...
that's a man-thing ... to you I say it matters not a whit. My books
... heavily laden with scientific research ... state quite clearly
that there are no men ... my cufflinks and the male of the species
notwithstanding. Still ... I repeat ... when you look at these
cufflinks you might now well understand why these chaps seem so
    unhappy.

For those of you who are new to this thing called Tidbits...may I
direct you to my home page at www.tyler-adam.com where you will
scroll down the left side menu till you get to the area that says
Tidbits Graphics ... and then click on the link that says: Man ...
where you'll see an image of a pair of yellow gold Man cufflinks.

And there ya have it.
That's it for this week folks.
Catch you all next week.
Benjamin Mark
