    Barb and Larry, "Deutches Edelstein" is the name of the 4-floor
    museum dedicated to the stone/gem carving trade in Idar-Oberstein. 
    All I can say is that it's memorable!  

    If you go to Tucson, get a taste of Idar-Oberstein at the G.L.D.A.
    in the Radisson.  The carvers from Idar-O display their talent each
    year.  Very congenial group of people.

     It's a great website.
