Dear Orchid Community,

    For the past two Tucson Orchid Dinners, we have had very successful
    silent auctions. Many of you made generous contributions to the
    auctions.  The silent auction has been a win win event! Orchid
    members got something for less than retail value and ALL the money
    went directly to Hanuman to help defray a small portion of the fees
    he pays to keeps us all connected.  Donations for the 2004 Tucson
    Orchid Dinner have been coming in at a very slow rate.  I'm afraid
    that if we don't keep priming the pump, this well of knowledge and
    friendship that has become Orchid may go dry. Orchid needs your
    help. The Annual Tucson Orchid Dinner has historically been the
    largest single fund raiser for Orchid each year.  Let's keep that
    tradition going and make this year's event even better than it was
    last year.  YOU can make that happen.  Any contribution you can make
    will be greatly appreciated. 

    We hope that as many members as possible attend the dinner, but this
    is not a prerequisite for contributing to the auction.  You can be a
    part of the event even if you are not present. If you are able to
    donate something to the auction, please let me know of your
    intentions.  I am Pat Glover and even though Pat Kulla and I are
    sometimes joined at the hip, we are two very different people.  I
