Hi, All!               

    Inspired (as always) by John Burgess, I just came up with the
    following. I think you'll agree that as a joke writer, I make a
    pretty good... jeweler. Anyway:              

    		A French-English jeweler named Dan'l 
    		Said "I can't set a stone in a channel! 
    		To Venice I'm bent 
    		Though my money's all spent-- 
    		I may have better luck with a canal!" 

    OK, so you have to mispronounce canal. I look forward to those of
    you who can do better!
